On Christmas Eve, Shane and I went to the 5:00 mass at St. Olaf in downtown Minneapolis with Shane's family. St. Olaf is the parish that we belong to (and where we got hitched!). We brought up the gifts during the mass. After church, we all headed down to Shane's grandparents in Burnsville where we had a great mostaccioli dinner and opened gifts. Before we knew it, the night was gone and it was time to head back home.
On Christmas morning, we packed up the car and the kittens and headed to Fessenden to visit my family. We made it there just in time for lunch! We had a nice time visiting with my family. My Grandma Schatz even made the trip from Zeeland.

Jess and Stranger (my family's cat) - yes, I'm quite the cat lover!!

On Tuesday Shane and I drove to Bismarck to check out my Grandma and Grandpa Klein's new apartment. They had just moved in. We spent the day visiting with them, and of course eating some more.
On Wednesday, we packed up the car and the kittens again and headed home. We had such a wonderful time visiting everyone this holiday season. For those of you we weren't able to see, we wish you all a merry Christmas and a happy new year!! And we hope to see you soon!
