After our pumpkins' faces were drawn, it was Pa's turn to carve the pumpkins and attempt to interpret our artwork. He did a fantastic job!
Owen enjoyed playing with all the ooey gooey pumpkins insides and putting the pumpkin's eyes, nose and mouth back in to their proper holes like a jigsaw puzzle. He thought his pumpkin was pretty spectacular!
Just in time for Halloween, our pumpkins were ready to go!
This was the first Halloween that Owen wanted to pick out his own costume. And what did he want to be? Why a T-Rex, of course!
And lucky Cole, he got to wear Owen's hand-me-down. He, of course, didn't care this year, but I'm guessing that may change soon. Cole fit perfectly into Owen's old Tigger costume. He sure looked adorable!
Cole thought Owen's costume was pretty neat and kept trying to grab his head. And Owen (aka T-Rex) made sure to let out several roars at his little brother and proceeded to squash him!
Halloween night we hit the neighborhood. When the door would open, Owen would quietly whisper, "Trick-or-treat." It was barely audible. But as soon as the door closed he would shout out, "Let's go to another house!"
It was a bit cold this year, but we made it around the block. At one of the last houses we went to, Owen was very excited and when the door opened he shouted at the top of his lungs, "TRICK-OR-TREAT!!!" He was so loud that we were all laughing at how eager and excited he was. Although Owen would have gone to house after house, we reluctantly headed home to warm up and sort through Owen's goodies, which he was kind enough to share with his Mom and Pa!
