Cole's First Haircut

Well, it took 3 years and 8 months, but Cole's hair was finally long enough to need a trim.  I was a bit hesitant to cut off his adorable baby curls.  Alas, he was sporting a bit of a rat's nest in the back, so it was time.  (Sniff, sniff.)

Although Cole had been to Kid's Hair many, many times to get his big brother's hair cut, this was his first time to sit in the chair.  And for a 3 year old that does not like to sit still for long, it was going to be quite the challenge.

He was pretty silly for the first part of his cut, but by the end he was saying "I'm all done."  Luckily he had a great stylist who was patient with him as he tried to look at her every chance he got.  She worked quickly trimming up the frizzy curls on my very wiggling boy.

"Hey, what are you doing back there??"
"That tickles!"
"Am I done yet?"
"How's it look, Mom?"
Cole looked like such a big boy with his new hair-do.  We even got a few locks to put in his keepsake box.  But the best part of the whole experience was the sucker he got to enjoy at the end!
A new hair-do AND a sucker!!
