Golf

This summer Owen decided to try several new sports.  And Shane was delighted when golf made the list.  A golf course down the road offers classes designed for kids that are just starting to learn the game.  They use oversized clubs and balls to make hitting easier and what looks like a hula-hoop to help with feet placement.

Owen did a great job hitting the golf balls.  He was so focused and quick that he was usually done first which meant he spent a lot of time waiting until all the other kids had hit their 5 balls.  And of course, waiting isn't fun to do...especially for a 6 year old.

Between lessons, hitting the golf ball around the yard, playing mini-golf, and going to the driving range, he may just turn pro next year.
