It's crazy to think the year is now 2022! Our New Year's Eve celebration included our usual guests Nana Bev and Popi Jerry. We started the festivities with opening the last of the Christmas gifts with Nana and Popi.
Unfortunately, Aria was under the weather. COVID had finally entered our home so Aria went to bed early (and Eli decided to keep her company) while the rest of us put on our party gear for the special occasion.
We celebrated with our traditional dinner of ajiaco soup and carbonated juice (except for Kate - she does not like fizzy juice!) It was quite the rowdy party.
Shane had picked up a pack of party poppers that the girls loved. It took some serious power to pull them apart and after the loud snap, a surprise trinket would fall to the floor.
HAPPY NEW YEAR! Here's hoping that 2022 will bring with it good health and joy for all!
