Kate has been waiting for a long, long time to lose her first tooth. She has spent many mornings watching Rose get a special surprise from El Raton and the Tooth Fairy, and she could not wait until it was finally her turn. So when her very first wiggly tooth appeared, she was in 7th Heaven!
It, of course, took some time to get loose enough to fall out. She patiently waited each day as it became more and more wiggly. Then, on March 20th, while playing outside at school, it fell out! At the time, she didn't know what it was and spit it out! But she quickly realized it was her tooth. She thankfully found it on the ground, scooped it up, and brought it home. She was SOOOOOOO excited!!
We placed it inside a little Tooth Fairy pillow with a special pouch for the occasion. Kate then insisted on putting the Tooth Fairy pillow underneath her own pillow. Nothing like making it difficult for the Tooth Fairy and El Raton to retrieve the tooth. Perhaps Kate was hoping to catch them in the act of stealing her tooth. Thankfully, that did not happen.
In the morning, she excitedly peaked under her pillow to see if anyone had left her a special treat. Both the Tooth Fairy and El Raton had visited! They left a note thanking Kate for her tooth along with money and a new LOL. She was thrilled!
