Fun at the Fawn-Doe-Rosa

On Labor Day weekend, Owen mentioned that he wanted to go to the Fawn-Doe-Rosa. It's one of our favorite places, but at nearly an hour drive away, we don't go often. The kids all agreed it was a great idea so we loaded up our vehicles and caravanned to St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin.

Upon entering, we were quickly greeted by the tame deer roaming free throughout the grounds. It's by far the best part of the Fawn-Doe-Rosa (as it's aptly named).  We made sure to buy plenty of treats for them and the other animals.

Even Aria was surprisingly intrigued by the deer, reaching out to touch them.

We walked along the trails, petting and feeding all the various critters.

Aria especially liked the donkeys. She sat in one spot contently watching them for quite some time and didn't want to leave.

Everyone pitched in taking turns pushing Sam who was less intrigued about the animals and more so just enjoying the lovely stroll.

After our fun outing, we headed back towards home, stopping for a late lunch at the Tavern on Main in Lino Lakes.

What a fun way to end the summer!
