Kiddywampus fun!

With the freezing cold Minnesota winter upon us, Owen and I are always looking for fun new places to play to get us out of the house. Miss Ava and her lovely mama Sarah suggested trying out Kiddywampus in St. Louis Park. It was great! We had the whole playroom to ourselves. The two little tykes had a wonderful time investigating all the new interesting toys.

"Oh my! Did you see all these toys?"
The kids were adorable walking all over the playroom and looking at everything, including each other! Owen was a bit standoffish at first from Miss Ava (he's still a Mama's boy!), but soon they were checking out all the neat toys together.
"Owen, you're pretty cool. Give me five, buddy!"

"Psst, Ava, you're pretty cool too!"

The kids had a fantastic time making a big mess! Puzzle pieces and toys were flying everywhere. And one of the great perks of Kiddywampus - they pick up after you!

After working hard, both Owen and Ava were ready to sit and relax. Owen decided a Bumbo was his chair of choice and somehow managed to wedge himself in it (my boy has gotten a bit too big for the Bumbo!). Ava thought one of the toy boxes looked comfy and settled in to relax, that is until Owen started rocking Ava's make-shift chair...
She was not going to take that - especially from a boy! See how she leaned in with her fist clenched! Brian, you've definitely taught your daughter well!

One look from Ava was all it took and Owen was done rocking her chair!
Soon it was time to get moving and exploring again...

After a wonderful afternoon, we had to get going - Owen was ready for a nap and Miss Ava was in need of a banana! Thanks for playing with us Ava and Sarah!!
