Halloween

What a Halloween we had this year! With Cole being born October 12th, Halloween snuck up on us! We finally found time to carve our pumpkins that afternoon. Owen had a blast drawing his pumpkin's face (or "painting" his pumpkin as he likes to say!")
Since Cole is such a little peanut, we thought it would be fun this year to put him inside his pumpkin and get some adorable pictures. Owen thought it was a great idea...
But Cole did NOT...
"Get me out of here!!"
Owen had so much fun "painting" his pumpkin that he decided to "paint" Cole's pumpkin too!
He did a terrific job - by the end of his hard work there was barely any orange to be seen! Shane did a fantastic job interpreting Owen's workmanship and carved out two awesome pumpkins!

You gotta love Owen's signature "I'm smiling for the camera" face...
Trying to get both boys ready for trick-or-treating was not an easy task! Neither of them was too excited to get into their costumes. Once ready Owen was rearing to hit the streets in search of candy and not happy that the rest of us were still scrambling to get ready. It was pretty chilly out, so unfortunately not everyone was able to see just how cute Cole looked in his costume...
Owen was a brave little fireman and eagerly went door to door... Although he did get spooked by the house down the street when the lady answered dressed up as a scary witch. But who can blame him! She scared me too!!

What a fun Halloween we had this year! I'm sure next year will be even better!!
