We had fun at the "Earth World" exhibit looking at the fish, playing with the stuffed animals, crawling through the ant tunnels, and sitting in a giant log.
Owen grabbed every stuffed animal in sight (we're working on sharing!), but he eventually let Cole play with one of the frogs.
Our next stop was the "Habitot" (the toddler play area). It's one of my favorite spots at the museum. It's perfect for toddlers with a gate up and an age limit so I don't have to worry about the boys getting plowed over by a bigger kid. Plus, there's never many kids so the boys can usually play with anything they want to! Once again, we had a bit of a sharing issue as Owen grabbed every flower in sight and refused to give any to the little girl that kept asking him if she could have one! Eventually (with a little persuading from Mom) he caved in and gave her one.
Cole had a great time playing in the toddler area. Although he had a bit of a love/hate relationship with local otter...

| "Hey! You bit me!!" |
Owen built quite an elaborate tower out of blocks, and Cole, well, he thought the blocks were just perfect for chomping on.
We grabbed a quick snack and we were off to our last exhibit, "Our World".
Owen ran right up to the costumes and what did he want to dress as? Why a fireman, of course! The boots were so big that they were taller than his legs. Just one step in those humongous boots and down he went!
Then it was off to the kitchen. Owen decided to whip us up something to eat while Cole enjoyed looking at the world map.
Owen also got a kick out of the world map and kept asking "Where's America? Where's Colombia? Where's FANA?" He's quite the inquisitive 3 year old!
