The Corn Maze

Owen is a big fan of Curious George.  He has seen the episode where George gets lost in a corn maze at least 3 times.  So I thought, why not give it a try ourselves?  Luckily in Minnesota in the fall, you don't have to drive far to find one.  We hopped in the car and headed up the road to a nearby farm to try out our first corn maze.

Owen was so excited to "go on an adventure!" as he likes to say.  He had his very own copy of the map and lead us throughout the maze (with a little help from Pa.) 

We got lost a few times (everything looks the same!), but eventually we found all the clues and more importantly, the exit!!

After making our way through the maze, we had some fun enjoying the beautiful fall day...

The boys even got to play in a humungous pile of corn!  Although Cole didn't really care for the corn pile, Owen thought it was great and was soon buried up to his neck.  There was corn everywhere, in shoes, socks,...well, let's just say they had corn in all sorts of nooks and crannies! 

Afterward we took a hayride through the pumpkin patch and then stopped to feed the sheep, goats, and donkeys, and pet the tiny newborn chicks...

What fun we had at the farm!
