We decided to sneak in one more summer adventure the weekend before school started. The Taylors Falls area has become one of our favorite places to visit, but this time when we got to town, we decided to keep on driving to the Wisconsin side to visit the Fawn-Doe-Rosa. It's a very unique petting zoo filled with the typical sheep and goats, plus llamas, horses, rabbits, pot belly pigs, guinea pigs, the cutest cow I've ever seen, and much more.

As you can probably guess from the name, the Fawn-Doe-Rosa is the place to be if you like deer...lots and lots of deer roaming freely and most of which are tame enough to feed and pet!
Oh, and did I mention the skunk?!? Believe it or not, it was sweet and adorable. Of course, it was no longer armed with its stink bomb.
Owen loved feeding and petting all the animals. But Cole's favorite was the pony rides. He got to ride on the gallant horse named Skippy, not once, but twice!!
The Fawn-Doe-Rosa had a little bit of everything. We even saw a farmer hard at work.
There was so much to do and see. You just had to be careful where you walked. With all the critters roaming around, there were lots of "surprises" that you didn't want to step in!!
