Our Annual FANA Filled Weekend

The end of July marked the 20th Annual Fundraiser for FANA (the orphanage that was Owen and Rose's first home).  We were so excited to see all our FANA friends and celebrate the place that made us a family!

The festivities kicked off with a family picnic at a local park.  We all got dressed up in our yellow, blue and red to show our Colombian pride.

It was 7 years ago at the same picnic that we first laid our eyes on our baby boy!  He sure has grown up since then...

The kids had a wonderful time playing at the park, seeing all the animals at the petting zoo, riding the pony, playing mini-golf, and riding on a surrey with Popi Dave and Nana Judy.

Of course, no FANA picnic could be complete without Owen getting drenched from head to toe in the nearby water fountain.  It happens every year!!

The following Monday was the big fundraiser.  The event brought in $100,000 for FANA!  We are so very thankful to FANA for taking such great care of our kids during their time there.  And we are forever blessed that FANA choose us for these two precious little souls.
