Do we have exciting news to share! It's still a bit shocking to us, BUT the Slominski Six will (hopefully) be SEVEN! It's a long story full of unexpected twists and turns that I will share soon. We are just in the beginning stages of a long adoption process, and while we had always planned on being a family of six, God indeed had a different plan in store for us. It was only through His gentle nudges that our hearts and minds were opened to a precious little girl in a faraway country who was waiting for her forever family to find her.
While we are not new to the world of adoption, this journey is full of so many unknowns - a country that we know nothing about, an adoption agency that we have no experience with, an adoption process that few families have gone through, and a waiting child whose needs are greater than we had ever thought we could handle. Yet here we are. In love with this little girl thousands of miles away. And while we may be fearful, we have no doubt that God has chosen us for her.
Please pray for a speedy paperwork process, pray for our family as we battle the hurdles of international adoption, pray for our kids that the transition to another sibling goes smoothly, and pray for our littlest one that God may work miracles in her life.
