65 Years!

My Grandma and Grandpa Klein celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary in October. Yes, that's right, 65 years!! All the festivities took place in Zeeland, ND.

The first part of the anniversary celebration occurred at St. Andrew's Catholic Church. The mass was in their honor.

St. Andrews...

At the service, my cousin Mick sang the opening song, my Dad read the scripture readings, my siblings and I brought up the gifts and my Grandparents received a blessing from the priest and congregation...

The church was packed full - not a seat left in the place - they even had to setup folding chairs in the back for people to sit. After mass, the celebration continued at the Zeeland town hall.

Soup, sandwiches, and cake were served along with kuchen that my Grandma made just for the special occasion (no party is complete without kuchen!)

The Cake

During lunch, everyone started clinking their glasses to get my grandparents to kiss...

The hall was packed full of friends and family all there to celebrate 65 years of married life - quite the milestone!!

Almost all of us were able to make it to the big celebration...4 generations of Klein's...
My parents, siblings (minus Jon), and grandparents
