Day 37 in Bogota!

This morning we grabbed a cab and headed off to FANA to say “good-bye”. Maria Teresa and Elena were very excited to see Owen and he gave them both big smiles as we said our good-byes. Then it was time to hit the FANA gift shop – we may have gone a bit over-board, but who can resist!

Owen conked out on the drive back to our apartment (yes, his pants are a bit too big for him!)

But he couldn't sleep long. We only had a few minutes to drop off our bags and dart off to Crepes and Waffles for a celebration lunch with Erin and Lucas Sibley.

The crepes and ice cream were of course superb! We will definitely be missing that place once we leave!

For some reason, Owen thought it was great fun to put the wet-wipe that I was using to clean off his face in his mouth! I didn’t think it would taste very good, but he sure did!!

Pampers sure makes a tasty wet-wipe!

Hey Mom, don't take it away from me!

After our late lunch, we took off for our apartment as fast as we could. Big black clouds were looming in the sky and the sprinkles were starting to come down. Owen crashed again on our walk home (poor little guy had barely napped all day!)

We made it back to our apartment just in time! Within minutes, it started down pouring!!

The rest of our rainy Bogotá day was spent relaxing in our apartment.

Owen's got a new move down. He'll pull himself up to stand like he usually does...

...but then he'll turn himself around so that both hands are free. He's going to be walking no time!

We also played Owen's very fun game of peek-a...

...BOO!

Tomorrow we will be busy packing up for our big trip home on Saturday. See you all very soon!!
