The Pumpkin Patch

In keeping with our fall tradition, we drove up to Waldoch Farms on a quest for the perfect pumpkin.  It was a beautiful fall day at the farm.  Before making the journey to the pumpkin patch, the boys enjoyed riding trikes, playing in a huge pile of corn, and finding their way through a mini-maze.

After exploring some of the fun fall things to do at the farm, we loaded ourselves up in a trailer and enjoyed a bouncy ride out to the pumpkin patch.

Cole tried picking up a big one, but eventually moved on to one more his size.

He then proceeded to throw with the pumpkin in the air.  Luckily it didn't break!
Catch this!

Ha! Ha! I like throwing pumpkins!
After searching from pumpkin to pumpkin, the boys both found the perfect ones and we loaded up for the ride back.

With the pumpkins safely loaded into the trailer, we made our way back to the festivities.  The boys had fun playing in a play house, driving a wooden John Deere tractor (which Cole LOVED and did not want to get off!) and racing around an obstacle course.

Next stop on the agenda...the corn maze!  Owen and Shane were the map readers and led us through the maze and safely out the other side.

Which way?

After the long adventure through the maze, we were ready for snack time!

And then more fun on the farm!

The sun was setting by the time we left.  What a wonderful day at Waldoch Farms.  Until next year!
