Rose's First Swimming Lesson

Rose took her first swimming lesson this summer.  Shane was her assistant in the water while the rest of us cheered her on from dry seats.  Rose at first wanted to go to Mom, but when she realized that wasn't going to happen, found the next best thing, her two fingers.

The pool was full of lots of other kids and Rose was very interested in watching everyone.

She wasn't too fond of the back float.

But she enjoyed being lifted out of the water and floating on her tummy.

Her favorite part of swimming lessons was blowing bubbles in the water, although she seemed to be licking the water instead!

She is quite the little swimmer!
