Another Day at the Hotel

Today was another low key day at the Marriott. Aria ate over 6 ounces this morning! She was eating like a champ, but only ate a few more ounces the remainder of the day. We did a quick run to the local grocery store to pick up some pediasure to help increase her calories. Of course, she refused to eat it. She's one picky little peanut.

Aria didn't sleep well last night. It's clear that her head is starting to hurt more. She'd cry when I put her in the pack-n-play so last night I had an all night cuddle with my sweet pea.

We grabbed an early dinner at our hotel. Shane was holding Aria and we received quite a few strange questions and unsolicited advice. Two separate women working at the restaurant were quite concerned about the position she was being held. Since Aria is quite stiff, holding her can look a bit awkward at times.

We are counting down the hours until tomorrow when we can see the neurologist. Aria's foster mom Jocelyn has some "card" that she needs to bring to the hospital so we can get an appointment. She missed the last neurology appointment and there was no way we were going to let her be late for tomorrow's appointment. We told her we'd be picking her up at 7:30 am so we can be sure to get to the hospital by 8:00 am.

Please pray that Jocelyn is ready and waiting when we arrive to pick her up and that Dr. Dukhi, the neurologist, will see Aria and get a treatment plan started.
