Carving Pumpkins

Pumpkin carving spanned the course of 2 days this year with 5 pumpkins to carve and little people who can only help out so much. The kids were excited to design their pumpkins' faces except for Aria who loves to throw most things within her reach, including the permanent marker no matter how many times we tried placing it in her hand. Eventually I had to step in to assist with her pumpkin design.

Cole wanted nothing to do with touching the gooey inside of the pumpkins, but Rose loved scooping out the seeds and Kate even helped out a bit.

While Shane had to do the majority of the work for the younger four, Owen took on his entire pumpkin project from the design to the cutting and scooping out the seeds.

Finally the last of the pumpkins was carved. The kids were so proud of their pumpkin creations.
