Halloween costume shopping was a bit last minute this year. In the past, Owen has been the one leading the charge to the Halloween store, but since he's declared himself too old for Halloween, it kind of slipped my mind. Thankfully we were able to locate costumes online that could be delivered just in time.
This year Cole wanted to be one of his favorite WWE super stars - John Cena. He especially loved his big muscles.
Kate loves watching the movie 'Tangled' and when asked what she wanted to be for Halloween, she eagerly replied, "Rapunzel!" She looked darling in her costume, although the wig didn't stay on for long.
As for Rose, she went back and forth with lots of varying ideas, but eventually settled on a princess.
Aria was able to recycle one of the girls' previous costumes. It was more than fitting that she dressed up as Wonder Woman.
The day before Halloween, Nana Judy and Uncle Jason setup a house full of fun Halloween activities. The kids fished for prizes...
...went on a scavenger hunt throughout the house...
...pinned the nose on the pumpkin...
It was a fun-filled afternoon for all!! Thank you, Nana Judy!
Halloween day would have more fun in store for our crew. First with a hunt for candy and treats hidden throughout each kiddo's room. Followed up with a search throughout the house for their Halloween baskets.
Even with a basket FULL of goodies, the girls wanted to brave the cold fall night and trick-or-treat to our neighbors' houses. Thankfully a handful of houses was enough for them. They came home excited to sort through their treats and should be all set with their large stash of candy for the entire year.
