This fall we ventured to Waldoch Farm for our annual pumpkin picking adventure. We've been going there for many, many years and it never disappoints with so much to do and see. We hit up the outdoor play area first. Some favorites included the corn pit (the girls could have stayed there for hours!)...
The huge climbing structure…
And the ginormous slide that we slid down over and over again.
It took some convincing for the girls to wrap up their thrilling rides down the slide, but when we mentioned that the animals were our next stop, they quickly obliged. At the farm area, we were able to feed the donkeys, goats, sheep and many more furry creatures.
The big girls saddled up to ride on the ponies before heading off to our next stop - the corn maze!
Owen used to always lead our pack through the corn maze, but now that he's 15, he left us in the dust. Instead, Rose tried her best to guide us (with Shane's assistance).
The last stop on our adventure was the pumpkin patch. Owen, Aria and I walked out to the field while the rest of our crew decided to hop on the hayride which dropped them right off at the patch. Everyone set off searching for their perfect pumpkins. Some found them quickly but others were a bit more picky searching high and low. Finally all 5 pumpkins were selected. I took some finagling to them all on the cart and a lot of muscle to pull it all the way back to the car.
What a fun-filled beautiful fall day we had at Waldoch Farm. Can't wait to visit again next year!
