The night before Halloween, we got to work craving pumpkins. The younger four kids each designed their pumpkin faces with a marker. Some were much more intricate than others.
Then the three girls, with assistance from Shane, scooped out the ooey, gooey insides. Cole wanted no part in the messy task, but the girls thought it was great fun.
Shane then put his creative skills to use cutting out the kids' designs. They turned out fabulous!
As for Owen, he was much more efficient with his pumpkin carving. He skipped the marker design and scooping out the insides and went straight to the carving.
We were now finally ready for Halloween!
