On October 26th, we ventured off on our annual visit to Waldoch Farm. It has become an October tradition for us and something the kids look forward to every year. Sadly this year, Owen wasn't "feeling it" so he stayed home to lounge in typical teenage fashion while the rest of us headed to the farm.
Our first stop was the tractor ride to the pumpkin patch. We wanted to make sure we got our pumpkins taken care of right away so that we could spend the rest of our time enjoying the various activities on the farm.
The tractor has an oversized trailer that hauls guests out to the pumpkin patch. It even has a wheelchair lift which is perfect for our wheelers. Just roll them on, up they go onto the trailer, and we are off! Sam has not been a fan of these modes of transportation in the past and was quite concerned once he boarded the trailer. Knowing this, Shane scooped him up and out of his stroller which made a world of difference. That grimace quickly turned into a smile sitting on Papa's lap.
It was a fairly warm day for the end of October, and we had a lovely time walking along the pumpkin patch in search of our perfect pumpkins.
