Owen's using a spoon - all by himself!

Meal time will never be the same! Owen has started using his very own spoon! He was excited to give it a shot and boy did he cheer when he got it in his mouth! For Owen's first attempt, he had diced apples which were perfect - they stuck to the spoon and made cleaning up easy for Mom.

What do I do with this?
I think it works like this

Hmmmmmm...apples
YEAH! I did it!!

For his second attempt, we were a bit more risky (and messy!) with pureed fruit.

This is a piece of cake!

I'm getting good!

Owen is still working on not hurling the spoonfuls of food across the room. But I'm guessing it'll be some time before that happens! Until then, I'll be cleaning food off the walls!
