RAMS Softball

This year's RAMS softball season ran from March 24th through May 5th. It was Cole's second year playing on the softball team. Out of all the RAMS sports he participates in, softball is definitely his favorite.

It was a bit of a rough season for the team, although Cole played some of the best games he's ever played. For the season opening game, he had four hits and two runs! He really shined this season.

This year the team was gifted new jerseys with their names on thanks to a very generous donation from one of the player's families. The kids were able to select their number, and Cole did not hesitate choosing the number 6.

After a rough stretch of losses, they managed to make it to the playoff game. If they won, they'd go on to state. It was neck and neck until the last inning when the opposing team pulled ahead.

Cole had a big cheering section at the playoff game with all his grandparents attending to root him on.

The following week was the RAMS awards banquet. All of the players from the three different sports were invited to attend. Cole received the RAMS Tri Sport Athlete award for his dedication to the team for participating in all three sports - soccer, floor hockey and softball. He also lettered in floor hockey and softball.

Way to go Cole! We are so proud of you and all your hard work!
