Court Postponed Until Friday

This morning we contacted Sadie, our lawyer, to ask what time today's court appointment had been scheduled for. She responded that we were not yet scheduled, but she had hoped for a 3:00 pm appointment today. We waited all day to finally find out that our case would not be heard today. Instead it had been pushed back until Friday. We are heartbroken to hear this news as our chances of making the important Wednesday meeting are slipping through our hands.

Sadie spoke with Ms. Pluck at the Child Protection Agency in Guyana to let her know that we should be getting our First Order granted on Friday. And Ms. Pluck said she'd try her best to get us on the Adoption Board's schedule for Wednesday. But until we have our First Order granted, we are stuck in a holding pattern.

If we get our First Order granted Friday, we still have a chance to make Wednesday's meeting. Please pray for us. The journey to Aria has not been easy, but she is so worth it!
