Well, today did not go as we had planned. After scurrying around packing up our belongings for our anticipated departure tomorrow, we got the much dreaded news. Our court date has been pushed back. The Judge will not be able to meet with us tomorrow. Thankfully it was only pushed back until Thursday. We have our rental house until Thursday at 11:00 am so luckily we have a place to stay.
With the delay in our departure, we spent the afternoon hanging out at the rental house and enjoying the pool. Tomorrow we will attempt to pack up once again.
Tonight we discovered that there may be something other than the insects and spiders residing in the house. We found some droppings in the game room - EEK! I texted the house caretaker but I guess he didn't feel that the extra houseguest warranted a trip over in the evening. We are just hoping whatever it is stays put!
We are getting so close now to Samuel officially being a Slominski. Pray that we don't have another setback, and that come Thursday, we will finally have Sentencia!
