Day 10 - Usaquen (again!)

Rose slept in this morning waking up at 6:30.  But it didn't really matter because Cole was up at his usual 5:30 am.  He's a morning bird like his Pa!  We had a quiet morning at the apartment enjoying our little family.  The newest member was her typical sweet little self.

Today we hit the Usaquen market again.  We decided to take a cab there to help eliminate some of the walking (and exhaustion!)  Shortly after the cab dropped us off, it started to sprinkle...and didn't stop. So we grabbed a late breakfast at Archie's.

It rained nearly the entire time we were at the market.  It didn't stop us from shopping, but it did stop me from taking photos (I didn't want another camera to drown!)

This time we planned appropriately and brought along 2 empty backpacks to transport all our treasures.  We walked home from the market since it's not recommended to hail a cab on the street and we missed Ciclovia again on the way back.  There's just too many things to see at Usaquen to be back by 2:00!

After getting to our apartment, Rose had some rice cereal.  Shane fed her solids for the first time, and Rose devoured the whole bowl!  She really likes her cereal and holding her own spoon!

And now she opens WIDE open for the spoonful of cereal coming her way.

We did some shopping at Unicentro in the late afternoon and headed back to our apartment for a relaxing evening.
