We've arrived!

We made it to Bogota late last night!  We are so excited to be back, despite the lack of sleep.  We had so much luggage (8 checked bags, 6 carry-ons plus a stroller!) that Shane's family graciously agreed to bring a load of it to the airport for us.

On the way to the airport
Ready for our flight!

We took the 1:00 flight to Atlanta so luckily it wasn't an early morning for us (at least not any earlier than usual).  We only had a 1 hour and 20 minute layover in Atlanta so we were barely off the plane before reloading for our last leg of the trip.

Getting on the flight for Bogota!
Flying has definitely changed over the last few years!  The boys loved having their very own smart TVs to watch movies, play games and even watch one of their favorite Disney Channel TV shows.  It kept them occupied the majority of the flight with the exception of the landing in Atlanta when Cole had a bit of a rough time sitting during the landing.  But we got through it!

We landed in Bogota 40 minutes early and squished into a crowded bus that took us to the airport.  Immigration at the airport was a breeze and soon we were at the baggage claim.  I was nervous with the short layover that some of our bags would be missing, but they all arrived.  We did have a bit of an issue finding our stroller that we checked at the gate but we finally discovered it and were on our way!

Our driver was waiting for us and it wasn't long before we were loaded up and off to our apartment.  By the time we got to bed, it was after 12:30 am.  Quite a late night for the boys!  Today we are recuperating from the trip and tomorrow we head to FANA to get Rose!  We are ready for our amazing adventure as a family of 5 to begin!
