Rose isn't real fond of solid foods yet, at least the rice cereal or even the pear puree that I've given her (or attempted to give her!) She'd much rather just grab ahold of the spoon and use it as a teether. So now I use the two spoon method to attempt to get some solids in her. Although that usually just means she has two spoons in her hands! She also doesn't like the highchair, so by the end of her snack both her and I are usually covered in food.
With our early morning rises, coffee has been come a necessity. And there's no better place to get a cup of joe than in Colombia! This morning Shane made a coffee run the Juan Valdez. Not only was it delicious, but pretty amazing to look at too!
Rose was her typical cheery self today. She enjoyed showing off her talented sitting ability.
The boys also enjoyed playing outside at our apartment complex.

Today we decided to take advantage of Ciclovia. Every Sunday in Bogota, they close certain streets to cars so that pedestrians and bicyclists can use the roads. Bogota traffic is extremely congested. The sidewalks aren't the best and most don't have curb cuts which make pushing a stroller around town very difficult. So if you're going to go for a long walk with 3 kids in tow, taking advantage of Ciclovia is a must!
It was a beautiful day and we decided to make the 2 mile trek to the Usaquen Market. This was a first for us so we were excited to see the market that we've heard so much about. There were merchants every where selling all sorts of unique handmade items.

There were also many street performers doing some pretty amazing things.

Owen especially loved chasing all the pigeons.
We grabbed lunch at Archie's, a new spot for us, but we had heard great things and it didn't dissapoint.
We had spent so much time at Usaquen that we missed Ciclovia on the way home (Ciclovia ends at 2:00 pm). So the walk back to our apartment was a bit stressful crossing busy streets and lifting the stroller up and down curbs. We were all exhausted when we finally got back.
We spent the rest of the day at our apartment complex and enjoying our newly formed family of 5!
Today Rose turned 7 months old! She is such a sweet little pea. She is full of smiles and such a strong and curious little girl. We are so blessed that she is a part of our family!
And her brother Owen is wasting no time teaching her all sorts of things.

| Teaching her the "It wasn't me. I'm innocent!" face |
| And, of course, teaching the basics of how to stick out your tongue |
