Day 4 with Rose

Today was a sneak peak at reality for us as a new found family of 5!  Shane went to work (or attempted to) from our apartment while I tried to keep 3 kiddos entertained and out of the "office" which was not an easy task!

Our spring break is officially over so Shane wasn't the only one back to work.  Owen had spelling, reading, math, and a writing assignment today.  He wasn't too happy to be back to the grind.

For lunch we walked across the street to Oma again for some delicious food.  It rained most of the afternoon so we hung out at our apartment.  Of course, Shane had to run out to grab a couple coffees from Oma during a break in the rain.  They already know his order he's been there so many times!

Rose was her sweet, adorable self today.  Although sleeping in her crib for nap time has become a thing of the past.  She'd much rather nap while being held.  Bedtime is getting a bit trickier too.  It doesn't help that some guests have dogs that have been barking up a storm at night.

Tonight was bath time for the kids.  Our apartment doesn't actually have a bath, but they were kind enough to provide us with a baby bath for Rose.  She seemed pretty unsure at first, but once I showed her how to splash the water, she copied me and wouldn't stop.  I was soaked by the time her bath was over!

Cole thought that a bath sounded better than a shower and decided to test out Rose's bath.  He barely fit, but he did enjoy it!
