Day 10: Waiting on Final Order Issuance

Another day has passed and we are still waiting for our Final Order to be issued. It's shocking that it's been 2 days now and they have not yet printed the court order. Sadie thought we'd have it by the end of the day, but now we are looking towards tomorrow and praying that it will be ready. Once we get the Order issued, Sadie will need to serve a copy of it to the CPA who will then issue us a "Letter of Recommendation" and THEN we can finally bring those documents to the post office to obtain the Adoption Certificate. It's a lot of tiny baby steps in order to make any real progress.

We are trying to make the best of our standstill. We had a fabulous lunch poolside of fresh gray snapper with veggies and of course a couple of locally made Banks beers to go with it.

After Aria's much too short nap this afternoon, we grabbed a couple poolside cocktails. The weather is beautiful in Georgetown, as long as there's a breeze and you are relaxing in the shade. If not, the hot high 80 degrees can be quite unbearable.

Shane leaves on Saturday so pray that we can finally make some progress tomorrow.
