Day 9: Nothing to Report

We woke up today with hopes that our Final Order would be issued and ready to pick up. Sadie had sent over a draft of the document to the Registry this morning. In theory, they only needed to print and sign it. Unfortunately, the day came to a close with still no document.

With nothing to do for the adoption process, we spent the day lounging around the Marriott. We grabbed a late lunch outside by the pool. Aria LOVES sitting outside in the shade with the breeze blowing off the ocean. She happily sits in the stroller looking around at her surroundings.

Sadie stopped by the hotel to drop off our passport application. The application requires someone of status to vouch for you and confirm that all the information provided is accurate. Sadie was kind enough to sign the application as our "recommender" so we didn't have to find a Justice of the Peace to sign the document. We are trying to be as ready as possible so we can quickly apply for Aria's passport once we have the necessary documents.

We are at a standstill until we can get our hands on the Final Order, but we are hoping that tomorrow brings some good news!
