Day 15 - Our New Pad

Mr. Cole and Miss Rose woke up at a shockingly early 4:30 am this morning!!  With such an early morning, Rose was zonked out just a few hours later.

The first thing Cole asked when he woke up was, "Pa, Pa! Can we go swimming?"  He was very excited to try out the pool!  But that would have to wait.  Shane ran out to the grocery store to stock up our kitchen while the kids and I relaxed at our apartment.

The kids "patiently" waited until 10:30 am to hit the pool.  The pool requires swim caps - a first for us!  But the boys didn't seem to mind.  They have a kiddie pool and a lap pool which kept them both entertained.  They didn't want to leave!

After swimming, we decided to take a walk down to our old neighborhood to grab lunch at our favorite place - Oma!  We haven't found many restaurants near our new location and with it being Good Friday, many places were closed.  After the long walk back, the boys enjoyed some internet time while Rose relaxed after her afternoon snack.

This afternoon we checked out the indoor toddler play area at our apartment.  Rose loved the ball pit, Cole loved the play set and Owen just loved playing with his siblings.

The view from the play area was pretty amazing.

Rose is getting to be such a good little eater.  She loves her rice cereal and doesn't even need to hold onto a spoon anymore when she eats.  She just sits calmly and opens her mouth wide open with her tongue sticking out for each spoonful.  She's so adorable!  And meal time is much less messy these days!!

We are enjoying our new apartment.  The washer and dryer have been running all day!  There's no more need to worry about rationing clothes now.  Although we are really missing our daily visit from housekeeping.  At our old apartment, housekeeping cleaned the whole apartment and even did our dishes!  Needless to say, the dishes are starting to pile up.  Better get washing!
