Day 21 - A Lazy Day

While Shane spent the day flying back to Minnesota, the rest of us spent a lazy day around the apartment.

I was planning on getting Rose's new birth certificate today, but those plans were canceled due to some sort of demonstrations occurring in downtown Bogota.  So now the plan is to get it tomorrow afternoon.  Hopefully it works out!  We are down to only 6 more business days before we leave and there's plenty of paperwork to get done.

This morning we walked down to the Exito a few blocks away and Nana Bev treated the kids to a new toy.

The rest of the day included a couple trips to Oma for coffee (the grown-ups need their caffeine!) and lots of play time (both inside and out).

Today Rose tried a new food - green beans!  She was not impressed.  The look on her face says it all!

Although third time was the charm (and mixing the green beans into her rice cereal helped too!)  She gobbled it up!
