Today was our last day of sight seeing so we let the boys decide on the day's activities. And the decision was unanimous - a return the Parque Jaime Duque! This was a first for our tour guide Jorge Rico - taking the same family to Jaime Duque twice in one week! But the park is so big that we barely duplicated any activities.

The park was very quiet, unlike on the weekend. We barely had to wait in line, and at times we had an entire attraction just to ourselves!

Rose enjoyed relaxing in a shady spot on the grass while her big brothers tried out all the fun playground equipment.
Soon the boys were starving so we grabbed a quick bite to eat. After lunch we were ready to hit the park once again when Mother Nature decided to turn the sunny skies gray and down came the rain! Of course my boys were the only ones excited to run out and play in the rain!

To get out of the rain, we went through a rather "interesting" Museum of Man. This is definitely not Disney World! Throughout the park there are many questionable sights, some violent images and a shocking amount of nudity! There were many sentences that Owen uttered, "Mom, I can see his p..." To which I'd interrupt, "Yes, dear. I see what you can see."

When we emerged from the museum, the rain had stopped so we walked over to some covered rides that were still dry. We made it just in time. Minutes later it started to down pour!

We eventually made our way to the Taj Mahal replica to take a peek inside. There was some artwork on the main level, the history of Colombia's independence on level 2 and some large replicas of bugs on level 3 - quite an eclectic collection!

Jorge, our tour guide, explained each part of the history of Colombia's independence. Owen enjoyed the story and looking at the accompanying artwork so much that he asked to go through it again!

We all enjoyed our last day of sight seeing. Tomorrow we pack! We will soon be home!
