Day 20 in Colombia!

Owen and I survived another day on our own! This morning was a bit hectic. We had to be ready by 10:00 am to meet up with the Henry’s and Sibley’s to head to Panaca Sabana (a zoo just outside of Bogotá). 10:00 am may not sound early to most, but it’s definitely a struggle for us!

The Henry’s stopped by to pick us up and helped with some last minute items. We are so fortunate to have them just down the hall. They have been a life saver!

We spent a few hours walking around Panaca and looking at all the animals.

The paths in the park were very rocky at times, but it didn't seem to bother Lilliana who slept right through it!

We also met an extremely friendly Colombian family that helped us out with our language barriers and showed us some animals up close and personal!

After lunch, Lilliana was kind enough to offer Owen her stroller. So he went for his very first stroller ride! He wasn't sure what to think of it at first...

But after a while he liked it so much, he fell asleep!

The rest of our day was mostly spent on the computer calling Shane and other family members. Technology is amazing! We can call to the US for free and see our family live on their webcams. Very cool! It was the first time our family had ever seen Owen other than in pictures. He even made sure to wave ‘hola’ to his Papa. It was adorable!
