After breakfast we played in the back yard and Owen fell asleep on the swing wearing his fancy sun hat which is a bit too big for him!
Then we were off to the grocery store to pick up some fruit. Owen still hasn’t gone #2, but we called FANA this morning and spoke with Elizabeth (the head nurse). She assured us this isn’t uncommon for a child of his age when dealing with a stressful situation. But we’re still hoping for a “present” soon!
After our walk, Owen played in his crib for a while (we're trying to get him excited to be in his crib, so we like to play games with him while he's in there.) Here we are playing peek-a-boo...
And here the new game is "drop Mama's brush and see how many times she'll pick it up and give it back to me"...

When we got back from the grocery store, Marie Teresa Perez took us to get the rest of our documents notarized. So now we are all set for our big BienEstar interview tomorrow!
As time goes on, we’ve been learning even more about our son. Owen hates his socks! He's always pulling them off his feet!
When he’s tired, he rubs his head behind his ears and pulls his hair. He’s fascinated by his mobile and points to it whenever he wants it wound. He loves playing with paper – he carries it around with him as he crawls and likes to crinkle it up. His feet and armpits are very ticklish. He loves to play peek-a-boo (especially during meal times) and clap his hands. He hates hats and loves the bath! He doesn’t even mind getting water in his eyes. He sucks on his thumb and pointer finger so hard that it’s nearly impossible to get his finger out of his mouth. He is a ham and loves to show off in front of people. And he of course wins everyone over with that adorable grin of his!
