Day 33 in Colombia!

Some crazy things have been happening with our internet today! But I'm finally able to get online again. So here goes day 33...

I’m not quite sure where our day went. We didn’t do a whole lot – but it sure flew by! After a rather rambunctious wedding dance last night that kept us up later than usual, we ended up sleeping in until 9:00!! So we got a rather slow start this morning. We eventually got ready for the day and headed down to the La Fontana market to get the rest of our souvenirs. After mass they had some very festive entertainment with singers, musicians and dancers. Owen was mesmerized and started dancing and clapping along!

Then it was off to the ATM. We had a nice quiet walk with the light Sunday traffic and made a slight detour to play in the park. Owen had a great time swinging, playing on the money bars and teeter totter, and crawling in the grass! Yes, he now loves grass!

After the park we finished running our errands and headed to Juan Valdez for a cup of coffee. Owen was pretty tuckered out after all the running around at the park.

Once Owen woke up, it was time to play again. He showed us just how creative he could be at stacking his rings up (notice the teether and nipple!)
Then he talked on the phone to his Grandpa Klein for the very first time...
Tomorrow we're heading out to get Owen's ticket for our flight home! Less than a week left!
